Rosa Palissandro is at once floral, woody and spicy, and features rosewood, also known as Palissandro, an ingredient that disappeared from the perfume palette for a while but has become available again in recent years.

Rosewood, a faceted material with citrus, pepper, floral and woody influences, was grown in Brazil. The use of this material gradually disappeared in order to preserve the tropical forests. For a long time, natural (lavender type) or synthetic (linalol, naturally present in bergamot, lavender or coriander seeds) materials were used to reproduce the scent, but without exactly matching its real smell.
